Kids & Youth

We’re a church for all ages, and that means children and young people are always welcome here.

Our kids’ and youth activities are relaxed, friendly, and full of energy –  a place to have fun, build friendships, and explore faith in a way that makes sense for each stage of life. Whether you’ve been part of church for years or are visiting for the first time, you’ll find a warm welcome.

Sundays

Kids and youth are an integral part of our church family. As well as being welcome in all of our services, we run groups during the service for primary school-aged children and secondary school-aged young people, where they can have fun, build friendships, and explore faith together.

Our kids’ and youth work is led by fully DBS-checked volunteers, supervised by our Kids, Youth & Families Worker. Children and young people start the service together with everyone else, before heading with our volunteers to their groups in the church hall on Melrosegate. They rejoin the service later to share in communion with the whole church family.

During communion, children are welcome either to receive communion or to come forward for a blessing, according to the guidance of their parents or carers.
